Welcome to Reading Comprehension Across America. The goal of our application is to allow students to practice their reading and comprehension, while learning about American landmarks, people, and geography. The exercises are generally appropriate for grades 3-5. The levels vary to both motivate and challenge students. Click "activity guide" after you sign up to see information about each passage including lexile level, grade level estimation, number of questions, and word count. You are free to use this as you see fit. You choose to preview the exercises and to allow or not allow narration and highlighting. You can allow students to try any of the exercises, or, restrict them. These can be used in centers, for remediation, or for enrichment. You can view student results and records. Students can earn state coins for achievement and points they can use to download coloring pages.
