Earvin "Magic" Johnson is a retired professional basketball player and current businessman. He was born on August 14, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan.

Magic began playing basketball at a young age and was a star player in high school. He then attended Michigan State University, where he led his team to the NCAA Championship in 1979. After college, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1979.

With the Lakers, Magic became one of the best players in the NBA. He won five NBA championships, was named the NBA MVP three times, and was named to the All-Star team 12 times. He is known for his incredible passing ability and his showmanship on the court.

Unfortunately, Magic was forced to retire from the NBA in 1991 after he was diagnosed with HIV. He has since become an advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness and works with various organizations to promote education and awareness about the disease.

In addition to his work in HIV/AIDS awareness, Magic is also a successful businessman and philanthropist. He is a part-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers and has also owned several businesses, including a chain of movie theaters and a production company.

Magic Johnson is a true legend in the world of basketball and an inspiration to many. Despite his early retirement from the game, he has accomplished a lot in his life.
