The Big Yellow Bus Common Core Alignment

Age Appropriateness/Rationale

All of the kids are in the wrong seats on the bus and it is a wild scene. The bus cannot make it to school in this condition. You must re-arrange the kids so they are in the correct seats. But the seats don’t have numbers they have math problems! Drag and drop the kid to their correct seats in 90 seconds. The quicker you can accomplish the goal, the quicker the bus gets to school and the better your medal will be. Students may need to be taught how to drag and drop before playing this game. For younger kids, the number of students correctly dragged to their seats can be a benchmark. For older kids, the amount of time left over after dragging the kid to their correct seats can be the benchmark.

The Big Yellow Bus is perfect for kids ages 4-7, Grade Levels: 1.0 – 2.5 (apx.)
