Turn the United States ablaze in color, then determine what fraction of the states are each color. Choose from 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 fractions. Think of the United States as one big whole, and each of its states (regardless of size) as an equal part. Print out a beautiful map with all of the correct fractions when you are finished. Fraction America is a great cross-curricular opportunity for students to integrate their fractions skills with the United States map. The program also requires students to reduce fractions to lowest terms and will prompt them when fractions are not reduced.

Fraction America is perfect for kids ages 9-12, Grade Levels: 4.2 – 5.2 (apx.)
