The Legend of the Breakfast for Lunch Sausage

 
Mr. Nussbaum wasn’t sure what he had stumbled upon, but got the impression it was important — and possibly undiscovered. Resisting the urge to scream and bring attention to his discovery, Mr. Nussbaum decided to explore. His explorations led him to a pool of water so clear that it resembled glass. In the center of the pool shone a single ray of sunlight that illuminated a lever. It was clear the lever was meant to be pulled, so Mr. Nussbaum trudged through the foot-deep water, and came upon the badly rusted metal lever. Without thinking, he wrapped his hand around the lever and pulled. Though difficult to budge, Mr. Nussbaum eventually drew it back far enough.
