Great explorers traveled the oceans in vain searching for the treasure. In 1492, Italian-born explorer Christopher Columbus, certain that the great treasure lay to the west, convinced the King and Queen to finance a western exploration across the Atlantic Ocean. After weeks of searching, a member of the crew shouted “MEAT!” It was unmistakable – a stadium-sized legion of disc-shaped cuts of savory mammoth meat, frozen together in tower-sized blocks.
