| During the war, however, much of what was left of the mammoth meat was consumed, and precious little remained. A concerned group of citizens banded together and formed the Secret Society of Mammoth Disc Protectors to protect what was remaining of the precious meat. Cloaked entirely in mammoth brown, their mission was to preserve as much of the mammoth meat as possible for future generations. Much of their work was done at night under the cover of darkness. |
