The Sydney Opera House is located in Sydney, Australia. It is one of the world's most recognizable architectual structures and arguably Australia's most famous landmark. It is most famous for its spherical shaped shells that rise from the structure like sailboats from Sydney Harbor.

The opera house was completed in 1973, ten years behind schedule. It was formally opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20th, 1973. Millions of people attended the ceremony. Today, Sydney Opera House is home to five theaters which seat over 5,500 people combined. One of the theaters, Concert Hall, contains the Sydney Opera House Grand Organ, the largest mechanical tracker action organ in the world. It has over 10,000 individual pipes.
