| By this time, Sarah had all but forgotten about her missing lunchbox. Now she was so curious about the secret code that she couldn’t help but continue. Sarah carefully crept through the hallway until she came to a corner. She rounded the corner and began to hear what she thought were voices; yet her walking had led her to a dead end. As she listened more intently, she could hear the sounds of people laughing and joking. She also heard what sounded like bells, whistles, and even video games. The sounds were coming from behind the brick wall! Sarah crouched down and found a crack in the bricks from which red light seemed to be pouring. She lowered her head and placed her eye in a position so she could see through the crack. Sarah couldn’t believe her eyes! |
