Once the elevator doors had closed, Sarah started moving in an upward direction. “No!” cried Sarah, “I want to go down!” Exasperated with the elevator, Sarah decided to take the stairs, once she could get off the elevator.
Looking up, Sarah noticed the lights that illuminated the elevator buttons were flashing on and off. Stranger still, was the fact that the school building was only two stories high, and she had been on the elevator for what felt like an eternity!
Sarah started to panic. “What’s going on?”.
“What is wrong with you?” Sarah asked, as if the elevator would answer. Frustrated, Sarah pressed the button labeled “2,” just see if anything would happen.
