Description

The Rhode Island Red is a popular breed of chicken used for its meat and eggs. A female chicken can produce between 250 to 300 eggs per year! The Rhode Island Red has a reddish-brown body, and conspicuous flaps of bare red skin near the bill and forehead. The Rhode-Island Red has large, yellow feet.
