Read the passage and answer the questions.

Rainforests are very important to the world's overall health. Sometimes called the "lungs of the earth," rainforests absorb much of the world's carbon dioxide and produce much of its oxygen. Although rainforests only cover about six percent of the world, they hold over fifty percent of the world's species. Jaguars, parrots, sloths, and monkeys are just a few of the species found in rainforests. There are thought to be 30 million different kinds of insects in the Amazon Rainforest alone! Many species remain yet to be discovered.

Rainforests are important in other ways too. Important products are harvested from rainforests including medicines, rubber, coffee, fruit, tea, lumber, and others.
