Located in the Sierra Nevada Range of eastern California, Yosemite is one of the oldest, and certainly one of the most spectacular national parks in the world. The park has too many natural wonders to describe, but features towering waterfalls, the Mariposa Grove (hundreds of Giant Sequoias), alpine valleys, and the world-famous Yosemite Valley and its amazing cliffs such as El Capitan and Half-Dome. El-Capitan is one of the most popular rock climbing locations in the world.
