Yellowstone National Park

Located in the northwest corner of Wyoming, Yellowstone was the world’s first national park. The park, which sits upon a 43 mile-wide caldera (volcanic crater), features amazing sights such as hot springs and Old Faithful (a geyser which erupts every 65-92 minutes). The park also contains the world’s highest spouting geyser, free-ranging bison, wolves, moose, and grizzly bear, as well as the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone – a 900 foot deep canyon that descends to the Yellowstone River.
