Hot Springs National Park

Hot Springs National Park, located in southern Arkansas, is the oldest preserved area in the national park system as well as the smallest national park. The springs has been used by the region’s Native Americans for hundreds of years, who bathed in the thermal springs to cure sickness and to heal wounds. The park itself is sometimes referred to as "America’s Spa". It features eight historic elaborate bathhouses, including the well-known Fordyce Bathhouse and 47 natural hot springs. Visitors can purchase tickets to soak in the 100 degree water in private tubs.
