Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, located on the island of Hawai'i, is a spectacular place that chronicles the seventy million year formation of the Hawaiian Islands. The park features dramatic volcanic landscapes, lava flows, and craters. Visitors can sometimes view lava flows from Chain of Craters Road or explore the caldera of Kilauea Volcano from Crater Rim Road.
