Grand Teton National Park

Located in western Wyoming, just south of its more famous neighbor, Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park features incredible views of the Teton Mountains. The Teton Mountains contain eight peaks over 12,000 feet, including the 13,770 foot Grand Teton. The park also features beautiful meadows, blue alpine lakes, over 300 species of birds, and large mammals such as black and grizzly bears. Winters in the park are brutal. Grand Teton once recorded a temperature of -63 degrees F.
