Gates of the Arctic National Park, located in the remote Brooks Range of northern Alaska, is certainly one of the nation’s wildest national parks. Featuring beautiful glaciated valleys, wild rivers, boreal forests, and sections of arctic tundra, the park encompasses two national preserves, six Wild and Scenic Rivers and two National Natural Landmarks. The park is home to grizzly and black bears, dall sheep, moose, wolves and caribou.
