Hot Springs National Park, located in southern Arkansas, is the oldest area in the national park as well as the smallest national park. The area was used by the region’s Native Americans for hundreds of years, who bathed in the thermal springs to sickness and to wounds. The park itself is sometimes to as “America’s Spa”. It features eight historic, bathhouses, the well-known Fordyce Bathhouse and 47 natural hot springs. Visitors can tickets to soak in the 100-degree water in private tubs.
