Sweet 16 Word Madness! Do you like the NCAA Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as “March Madness?” If so, this game is for you. First choose your team. Then, use your word recognition and spelling skills to click on the basketball that completes the word at the top of the page. Choose correctly and you’ll hit a basket or three-pointer, choose incorrectly or too slowly and your opponent will score. Be careful, though, each round gets progressively tougher. You will have to be an expert in word completion to win the National Championship. Math
(Best Math Friends) – It’s not Facebook, it’s not MySpace, it’s Best Math Friends. Friend as many current celebrities and historical figures as you can by answering their word problems. See if you can friend all 50! Be careful though, if you answer too many problems incorrectly the game will end. Simply click “correct” if the word problem and answer given by the celebrity or historical figure is correct, and “incorrect” if it is not correct.

Spellerz! makes spelling and typing fun and is a great tool for teachers! Try to save the world from evil, invading “spellerz”by typing the words that appear as fast as possible. Choose from eleven different word lists (including 1st grade through 7th grade lists) and choose the number of words to be included. Even better, add your own word list and receive a code to give students. When students enter the code, the game will be populated with only the words from your list!

Lonnie – Lonnie was the world’s greatest skateboarding champion. Famous for his death-defying jumps, he was attempting the ultimate jump – from one of the Petronas Towers to the other, over 700 feet above the ground! In front of a huge crowd, Lonnie almost made it —- but not quite. As the attending physician, it is your job to save Lonnie, who fell to the concrete below. Use your knowledge of the human body to put all of Lonnie’s organs and parts back in the right places.

Becoming Lord Voldemath
The object of the game is to defeat four wizards in a game of mathematics by answering addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division facts correctly AND before your wizard opponent does. If you succeed, you will morph into the all powerful mathematician – Lord Voldemath and can print out a certificate of achievement! As you progress through each round, you’ll gain a magical power that is manifested each time you answer correctly.

Piggy Bankers – Practice you coin and money counting skills in Piggy Bankers! Catch coins and currency falling from the sky to try to reach your target savings amount! Use the arrows to move your piggy banker. Be careful, if you collect more than your target, the game is over. Be on the lookout for spinning tokens. If you can catch a spinning token, you’ll have the opportunity to enter the amount of money needed to reach your target. | |||||||||||||||
