The Grand Canyon, located in northwestern Arizona, is one of the world's most sites. over millions of years by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, and 4 and 18 miles wide. In some places, the canyon is more than one mile deep. Its steep-sided, colorful gorge has been on photographs, posters, and postcards. Today, Grand Canyon National Park is one of America's most national parks.
