Draggable Decimals

draggable decimals

Draggable Decimals is a useful application for adding, subtracting, and multiplying decimals. Currently there is an option for dividing decimals, but there are bugs in the work space that will not allow students to have room to complete the work part of the problem (if the answer is done on a separate sheet of paper the system will check it correctly). For this reason, the division option is not recommended. In Draggable Decimals, the student can completely customize problems in addition, subtraction, and multiplication. This application allows users to drag the numbers and decimal places to their correct places in the work portion of the problem. This is especially useful for students who have trouble keeping columns of numbers organized in long problems. To try Draggable Decimals, click the picture, or, click here.
